The museum and its garden changed considerably over the period and the most noticeable replacements were both the museum and the garden. The garden to the north of the museum cut down and extended the museum adding several rooms. Additionally, a car park was built caused cutting of trees from the south.
To begin with, several rooms such as special exhibitions, education center, and café were added in the museum during the following five decades. The entrance was changed from the middle to the west side of the building where it opened in museum shop. In 2007, the local history room and the museum store room were flattened and replaced them with the museum shop and the reception. The biggest room was modernized and called local history room instead of national history room.
Regarding its surrounds, the garden to the southeast of the building was cleared and developed a car park. Furthermore, the trees from the southwest of the museum were cleared like footpath which as running from south to the north.
