The drawing demonstrates the main stages of how chipboard is constructed from wood before being used to produce furniture.
It is clear that there are two main stages in the process which are preparation and production. The progress presented in 9 steps, starts from cutting down trees and ends with making furniture such as tables and chairs.
Regarding the preparation stage, there are 5 steps in total, when the wood is collected and processed. Firstly, trees are being cut down then trimmed into logs. After that, logs are going through machine that makes wood chips before being dried for 24 hours using hot air steam. At the following stage of the process, the dried wood chips are stored for about 1 to 2 weeks.
Following by next four steps in production stage, chipboard is made and shaped into various furnitures. Once wood chips have been mixing with glue and wax, it is being put into a mould to create certain shape. That mould is pressed to form a chipboard. Finally, these chipboards are used to produce furniture such as chairs, tables, and other wooden products.
