In general, there are eight main steps in ethanol fuel production, beginning with the corn processing, with the steps being separated into two distinct stages, and ending at the transportation stage.
In the first stage of the process, corn is stored and milled. Following this, the corn powder is cooked with water for approximately 4 hours at a suitable temperature to get an appropriate mixture, then fermented for about 2 days. The result is filtered into 2 different types, the solid is corn residue, and the other one is a liquid containing ethanol.
In the fifth stage of the process, the ethanol in the liquid is purified to make it more pure, and this step takes 5 hours. After that, the fuel is stored and transported to different places.
