The production of fabric made out of bamboo is illustrated in the picture.
Looking from an overall perspective, it is evident that the process consists of nine steps, starting with bamboo plantation and finishing with manufactured clothes.
Firstly, the bamboo plants are sowed in spring. Once the bamboo has grown, it is then harvested in autumn. Next, felled bamboo trees are cut into strips. In the following stages, the strips are crushed into small pieces, in order to make liquid pulp.
Regarding the fifth step, which is the begging of fibre production, a filter is used to divide long fibres from the liquid. Subsequently,the fibres need to be soften, which is done by adding water mixed with amine oxide. After soft fibres have been spun, it then becomes yarn. Lastly, yarn is woven to create fabric, after which clothes are produced.
