The diagram illustrates the systematic process of leather goods production from delivery of animal skin to waxing of the finish product.
Firstly, animal skin is collected from the farm which eventually will be delivered to the factory. Afterwards, small and large animal skin are sorted before they will trimmed by the factory workers. Following this, salt was added on the skin of animals and then the material is placed in a layered rock to undergo curing for 30 days. Subsequently, the cured materials is soaked in a water for 24 hours after curing.
After soaking, the hair of the animals is removed using a knife. In addition, pickling method is done using salt and acid. Meanwhile, after pickling method, chemical is added for tunning process for 48 hours. Following this step, colouring and softening is done before air drying the material using a drying machine. The final stage of the process is waxing the leather.
Overall, the diagram delineates a comprehensive twelve stages on leather goods production beginning from delivery of the skin of animal from the farm to waxing the finished products.
