The use of oil in the manufacturing of perfume is illustrated in the figure below. Overall, there are several production steps in which various equipment are used and several compounds are mixed.
The first step is the heating of water to create steam in a enclosed container. Then collected hot air is transferred through a tube to mix with aromatic plants to create a mixture of steam and oil vapor. It is then released into condenser filled with cold water to remove hot water from it. After removal process is completed, water mixed with essential essential oil is transferred to a separator. As the last step, essential is collected above the hyrolat inside the separator and unused aromatic water is sent out.
The manufacturing process of perfume is simple and it does not require complicated scientific knowledge. However, the abovementioned process is necessary to follow. To conclude, there are 4 laboratory tools needed and some supplies only required to produced perfume.
