The process diagram represents the making of potato chips from the initial stage to the final stage.

There are lots of processes being undergone to make the chips as an outcome.

Firstly, the potatoes which are good in quality alone are sent into the washer which rinses the potatoes keenly, and the peeling process is undergone. After completion of peeling, starch is added. The vegetable is sent to the bucket conveyor after rinsing completely with cold water to cut into slices with the help of a slicer.

The sliced pieces are sent to a deep fryer by passing air. The flat bed conveyor mixes the pieces completely and dries the potatoes thoroughly. Salt is added to provide some taste as it is odorless at the moment. There are two kinds of packing being done. The bag packer from the flat belt conveyor receives the chips and packs them in small packs, whereas there is a bulk can filler which loads in huge quantities.

In conclusion, we can understand the several processes undergone to make the chips, with a lot of rinsing, drying, and packing being done. There are a lot of machines being used while undergoing this process of making chips.
