The diagram depicts the process of converting potatoes into potato chips.
It is clearly seen from the diagram that, when the potato arrives at the manufacturing place, they are examined by hand for quality before being washed in cold water. The potatoes are then sent to a peeling machine to remove their skins and eliminate their peels and starch. Following that, the peeled potatoes are transferred to bucket conveyors where potatoes move one by one to make a slice. After that, the slices are distributed on another flat conveyor belt and air dried as they move into deep freezers.
Furthermore, in the deep fryer, the chips are then cooked and after the completion of process, they are salted and passed through flat belt conveyor to the bag packer machine which ready chips into each bag, while the other machine is used to put the chips into cans.
In summary, potatoes are washed, peeled, sliced and fried in order to make a potato chips.
