The diagram illustrates how the Australian Bureau of Meteorology produce reliable forecasts, using the information about weather.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that the process of production reliable forecasts consists four stages: incoming information, analysis and forecasting, preparing the broadcast, and broadcast. The needed equipment is: a satellite, a radar, buoy, charts, a TV newsreader, a computer, a radio, and a recorded announcement.
Moving to a more detailed analysis, the initial set of steps involves: upcoming data, and analysis&projection. In the first step, information is came from three sources:satellite, radar, and drifting buoy. After all these items delivered the data, the information from satellite, radar, drifting buoy is moved to the satellite photo, radar screen, synoptic chart, respectively.
The second set of steps in the production of weather forecasts is connected to the spread of the information. In the next stage, the information of all three forecasting is transferred to one computer. Once it is there, the data is distributed into the TV newsreader, the radio, and the recorded information.
