The diagram illustrates the process of producing ceramic pots, which involves eleven main steps. It starts with the collection of raw materials, followed by drying and coloring processes, and culminates in the creation of finished pots.
The process begins with excavating and collecting raw materials, such as soil containing clay, using excavators. The materials are then transported to factories for various processing steps. Subsequently, the mixture goes through two stages of crushing: the first stage smooths out large grains, and the second stage refines the material further.
The resulting mixture is then blended with other materials and water before being piped into molds to be shaped. The wet pots then undergo a drying process, which consists of two steps. First, the pots are dried in the molds to form the shape of ceramic pots. After drying for 4 to 6 hours, the pots is placed in assembled clay pots to take shape. These clay pots are then fired in ovens at 1000 degrees Celsius, a process that solidifies the pots’ shape.
The next step involves coloring the solid clay pots in buckets, followed by a color firing process to ensure the paint adheres well. Finally, the finished colored clay pots are ready for use.
