The maps illustratesthe changes in Shakefield town between 1995 and now.
In general, Shakefieald has become much more modern town, with far more facilities.
One interesting change is that the golf course and tennis course has constructed. In 1995, there was a farm land in the right top of the map but today this place is more modern. Another striking change is that morning fish boat has knocked down and yacht has added to sea to more attract people.
If we look at the west side of map new car park has built. The north-east of the town has seen small changes, just houses has expanded. Just under the housing there was a sport area but is transformed to restaurant. In the eastern side, there was the fish market but it has make into new apartments and next to of this building the coffee room has reconstructed to near of its place. And the final interesting development is that, The center of the map there was public park with lots of tree but trees has been cut down and holiday homes constructed.
