The diagram illustrates the layout of a citizen library 20 years ago and present daY, highlighting the transformation that take place over the 20 years period.
At first glance it can be observed that the public library witness dramatic transformation, including change in the library layout and introduction of new facilities.
Firstly entrance has not been changed.Enquiry desk has been removed and cafe has been developed in the east side including new facilities of self serving machines while reading room in the west has been eradicated and computer room has been set up. Similarly, adult fiction room has been shifted toward east side of the library and original adult fiction room has been replaced by reference books. Information room has been developed between adult fiction room and self serving machines.
Another notable change is tables and chair has been removed from the middle of the library.New lecture room has been created in the east where children books were before. Moreover, in the west side cd, computer games has been erased and children fiction books and story telling events has been created with one sofa has been placed toward the north west of story telling events while another sofa has been placed toward the south west of story telling events.
