The library’s floor plan before 20 years ago reflects its time, where we can see for example reading room for only news papers and magazines while the new design replaced that space with computer room, which is again a clear indication of the technological advancement through out the years.
Another major change is the self service machines which partially took the function of the enquiry desk such as booking tickets or returning boos which are now done by the machines.
On the other hand the new design inserted new spaces in the plan, for example the cafe and the story telling events corner near the children’s section.
