The central library, around 20 years ago , had a section for children’s book in the north-east side, which has now been changed into a levture room. Beneath that section, it had space for adult non fiction books but as of now, a space for adult fiction books has been developed. The enquiry desk, which was in the south-east side , has been transformed into a cafe, coupled with self service machines.
Similarly , the tables and chairs , which were infront of the entrance door , have been removed . The reading room located in the south-west has been replaced with a computer room. A separate space for storytelling events along with children’s fiction books , has been made in the north-west corner of the library.
