The illustration depicts the life cycle of a honey bee, which typycally lasts between 34 to 36 days.
The development of the bee folllows a significant four-stage cycle: begining with the laying of bee’s egg and end up when the young adult reaches its full maturity. The diagram dislplays a specific process, revealing each stage of time.
To begin with, female bee lays one or two eggs every three days. After 9 to 10 days, it becomes a larva and ready for the nexts stage, including two phases of moulting: first happened after the larva arised 5 days, followed by, the second moulting takes 1 weeks for its growth. Throughout this period, the bee changed notably in size as it prepares for the next developments.
After these moulting stages, the bee develops harder and becomes a yough adult aproximately 9 days later. Then it takes 4 days to transform into a full-growth bee, at which point the cycle can start again.
