The provided picture illustrates the manufacturing procedure of creating sugar from sugar cane.
From an overall perspective, the process includes six main stages, commencing with the growing of sugar canes and culminating with the production of dried and cooled sugar.
To begin with, sugar canes are allowed to fully grow in nature in a period from 12 to 18 months before undergoing harvesting process. In this stage, they are either automatically harvested by specialised machines or be cut down by farmers. Subsequently, these collected sugar canes are put into a specilised device to produce juice.
In the next phase, this liquid is purified by a limestone filter to eliminate imparities. These filtered product is then heated in appropriate temperature in the evaporator stage, where juice turns into syrup. Following this, sugar crystals are separated from syrup in the centrifuge step before being transferred to the final step. In the end, the syrup is completely dried and cooled in a barrel, hence, sugar is produced.
