The diagram shows how to produce sugar from growing sugar canes. Overall, this is comprises two main stages, which are farming crops and processing to create sugar.
The firs stage begins with growing sugar canes. It takes about between 12 and 18 months. After fully grown, they are harvested by harvester or by hand. After harvesting, fully mature sugarcanes are sent to crushing.
The second stage is completely mechanical. In this stage, harvested sugar canes are crushed in a crushing machine, which is has the allow to collect juice. The juice is then purified via a limestone filter, before being cooked under high temperatures to evaporate most of the liquid to become syrup. The syrup is then spun at a high enough speed in a centrifuge machine. The centrifuge machine helps extract the sugar crystals from the syrup. Finally, these newly extracted sugar crystals are dried and cooled. The resulting is the formation of ready-made sugar.
