The diagram depicts the design of a ground floor of a library over a period of 8 years from 2001 to 2009.

Overall, it can be observed that there has been a transformation of the library with additional sections over the period.

First of all, in 2001, the left side of the library had two sections which are self help and history but in 2009 there have been additional sections comprising of kitchen, economics and law. The fiction that used to be at the top part of the groundfloor has now been replaced with children’s books and added to the sections at the left side. The number of tables have been reduced and replaced with larger ones.

Furthermore, the portion for the newspaper and periodicals have been allocated for films and DVDS. Just after the films and DVDS is a portion for installation of computers which has been added in 2001. The enterance, Librarian’s desk and stairs still remain at its position from 2008 to 2009.
