The given diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of olive oil.
Overall, there are 8 main steps in the process, starting from ingredient gathering and ending with delivery to the retailers.
Firstly, the farmers collect the fresh olives by using rake in the plantation. before congregating the olives in the vat for 2 to 3 days. Next, the olives will be transferred to the pre-production stage. Here, the olives are cleaned under cool water through the washing step, preparing for the crushing process. During this stage, the factory utilizes a special machine attached with some hammers to remove olive stones from olives to a container, then the processed olives are conveyed to pressing and filtering step by olive paste.
Subsequently, the hydraulic press squeezes the olives, refining them by passing through layers of filters. As a result, the oil is produced, which is then taken to the centrifuge, where the spinning and separating process take place, creating purified olive oil and by-product water. In the final stage, the olive oil is bottled up, packed and transported to different retailers.
