The given picture illustrates the procedure of producing recycled cans from used cans. A holistic perspective reveals that there are a total of 7 steps, beginning with collecting the aluminum cans and ending with the producing completely recycled cans
To commence, the used cans, after being consumed and put in the recycling bins which are only for aluminium items, are collected by the special trucks of the recycling centers. After being delivered to the centers, the trash cans are cleaned and sorted based on type and quality by a recycling machine. This is followed by a shredding and compressing process to create a cube from aluminium scatters. Moving on to the next stage, the aluminium cubes are heated in the high temperature and transformed into molten aluminium.
After being dried, the molten aluminium is flattened to an aluminium sheet with the thickness of 2.5mm-6 mm thick, ready for the next stage. In the nearly end stage, the processed aluminium is gone through the production lines with many different steps to produce the new cans. Eventually, the final products are distributed to the beverage companies, being labeled and allocated to stores and supermarkets. It is a fact that 74 percent of cans in the UK are produced by this procedure, proving the efficiency and the ubiquity of this process.
