The given graph illustrates the processing of cocoa beans.
It is clear that, there are three main steps in this process, beginning with the picking of the whole beans and ending with the preparation of various products to consumers.
First of all, the picked whole beans’ shells are separated before drying process. Then these dried beans are pressed into liquid form. In step 2, the liquefied cocoa then underwent two different processes in order to produce variety of products. Some of cocoa liquor is pressed further and become cocoa cakes and cocoa. While cocoa cakes are grinded and serve to consumer as cocoa powder, cocoa is used for food and beverage industry.
Regarding to some of cocoa liquor is advancing refined. Next sugar is added with pressed cocoa to make industrial chocolate. Finally, in step 3, industrial chocolate underwent further processing to produce finished chocolate products are ready serve to the consumer.
