The process gives information about how to manufacture cocoa beans.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that there are three main steps, beginning with harvesting of cocoa beans and ending with products to consume.
In the first step, whole cocoa beans are collected to be dried and shelled. The dried beans are pressed to become cocoa liquor. The dried beans are then pressed to produce cocoa liquor. There are two methods to produce cocoa liquor: pressing and refining. The cocoa liquor undergoes further pressing to produce cocoa cake and cocoa. Moreover, sugar and cocoa are combined to be the ingredients for chocolate industrial manufacture through further refining.
In the next step, cocoa cake is crushed into cocoa powder before it becomes the final product that would be sold to the customers. Otherwise, it is also used in the cakes and drinks industry. In addition, finished chocolate products from further processing are shipped directly to the market for consumption after additional processing.
