The process diagram illustrates the distinct stages of the cocoa beans production.
Overall, the process consists three distinct stages from picking to end products.
The process begins with picking beans and then separate the shells from the whlie beans. Next, after dring, stage one is finished. Then comes to stage two where the dried beans are divided into two particular uses. Part of the beans are sent to get further pressing and then become cocoa cake. Other beans undergo further refining and after adding sugar, it becomes industrial chocolate. Then it comes to stage three where the cocoa cakes are sent to grind, after which they become two different products: cocoa powder and cocoa liquor. Cocoa powder sells to consumers while cocoa liquor provides for industry to make cakes and drinks. As for the industrial chocolate, after final processing, it becomes finished chocolate products which sell to consumers.
