The diagram illustrates the progress of how wool are produced.Overall, the process of manufacturing wool insists of 13 steps and divides into 3 stages which include the initial stage shearing the sheep and drying the shearling after a cleaning process, the following stage involve the spinning process of the dried shearling which can be turned into strings for recycling or into wool which can be collect into tufts and stored away for later procedures, the final stage the turns the tufts into balls of yarn for several activities and commercial goods.
Initially, they choose a suitable sheep so the chosen sheep can undergo the shearing process to get the shearling they need then the shearling will undergo a cleansing process in order to get rid of the dirt, bugs along with various different contaminants. After that, the cleansed wool will then be dry for a period of time to be able to be involve in the next stage.
Subsequently, the dried shearling l will proceed to be spun until either the material gets turned into string for reprocessing or into wool which turns into tuffs of wool and be stored in the tuft storage.
Finally, the tufts will then be taken out of the storage to make balls of yarn which have several usages which include knitting activities and for manufacturing carpets or jackets .
