The pictures show the process by which wool is produced. Overall, the whole process entails ten steps, which can be grouped into four main stages: collecting the wool, purification, spinning to create yarn, and manufacturing textiles. The majority of the process required manual labor.
The first step is shearing the wool from sheep and collecting it before it undergoes the purification process. Once it has been washed to remove impurities, the wool is hung to dry naturally under the sun. Following this, the dried wool is then spun by a special wheel to create yarn; at this point, spinning waste (string) is recycled.
The next stage begins when the yarns are formed into tufts of wool and stored in tuft storages, after which different colored balls of yarn are made, which can be used for either knitting or producing pieces of clothing or carpets.
