These pictures show the steps involved in making balls of yarn. There are 9 steps in the diagram from cutting wool from the sheep to manufacturing the balls of yarn and using them for knitting or producing carpets and jackets.
The first step is that the sheep is sheared for their wool. After the shearing step, the wool is cleaned to remove waste. Once the wool is dried of water, it is spun by the spinning machine. Afterward, the spun wool is twisted by the special machine to be turned into a thin rope. After the string step, the half-ready wool is recycled and used for variety of purposes.
Before the string step, the tufts of wool are produced from the spun wool and distributed to the store. The next step is that the half-ready balls of yarn are kept in the tuft storage. Subsequently, the balls of yarn are manufactured. Finally, the balls of yarn are ready for knitting or producing carpets and jackets.
