The line graph illustrates the market share of five different mobile phone brands – Iphone, Samsung, Huawei, Redmi, and Artel – between 2000 and 2010.
Overall, the majority of the brands experienced an upward trend in sales percentages, with Iphone and Samsung showing the most significant growth. In stark contrast, Artel, which initially held the largest market share, saw a dramatic decline, while Huawei remained relatively stagnant throughout the decade.
In 2000, Artel was the market leader with 30% of sales, but this figure plummeted consistently to reach a low of 10% by 2010. Conversely, Iphone started at 15% and underwent a steady upward trajectory, eventually overtaking all other brands to finish at 30% in the final year.
Samsung and Redmi also saw notable increases. Samsung’s share began at 10% and grew significantly to reach 25% by 2010. Similarly, Redmi’s percentage more than doubled, starting at approximately 8% and ending at 20%. In contrast to these dynamic shifts, Huawei occupied the lowest and most stable position, hovering around the 5% mark for the entire ten-year period with negligible fluctuations.
