The diagram illustrates the process of making wool, collected in balls of yarn used to create diffrente products, such as carpets, or clothes.
Overall, the process consists of 10 phases, all of the passages are handmade, showing that this kind of products are not realized with machines.
First of all, sheeps need to be sheared by an expert. The next step is to clean the wool with soap ad water, than lettin it dry naturally, by exposing it at the sun.
Once it is completely dried, a fondamental passage is “spinning”, which consists in spinning the product on a wooden weel, leaving no waste, since the excess is recicled. At this point, wool is organized in tufts of wool, that go right to the tuft storage.
The final products that come out from the storage are balls of yarn, which can be used either to knit or to sew jackets or carpets.
