The diagram illustrates the operational mechanism of a hybrid car and its environmental benefits. Overall, the hybrid car has several main parts: battery, generator, power control unit, engine, electric motor and transmission as the key features to the system to work. Additionally, looking at the process diagram, it clearly shows that the car employs a dual power source system that combines a battery and petrol engine, contributing to reduced emissions and enhanced energy efficiency.
The hybrid car operates through a complex connection between its battery and petrol engine. To begin with, the car’s smaller petrol engine is designed to minimize fuel consumption and emissions. After that, the petrol engine combusts fuel and it produces energy that is transmitted to the wheels via the transmisission system which results to car movement. At this point, the former process is also linked to energy control unit which regulates the flow of energy to electric motor and transmission. Similiarly, it will also connected if the car is moving and needs extra help.
After the car moving, the energy level is maintained by movement of the car. So the next power source, battery, will also support the car’s power to reduce emissions. Next process will also linked to energy control and transmitted to wheels via electric motor. Consequently, the car will opperate with low harmful substances emitted.
