The diagrams illustrate the transformation of The West Park Secondary School from 1950 to 2010. During those years, the school was transformed significantly at the left area of the school, while on the right area almost the same with the original.
The houses area and farmland were adpated in 1980 into another useful application for the school rather than living and farming area, which are the car park area, the science block, and sports field. The science block next to the main building kept its location during the changed in 2010, while the car park area was later dramatically increased its area, covered almost area of the left part. Causing the sports field, which was used to be the largest space in the left part, to taked place about 30 percentage of playground area.
The school main building and the playground in the right part of the school have slightly change its layout. From 1950 to 1980, the playground area took one fourth area of total, but in 2010, the playground area was forced to reduce its area, which had to give some space to sport field area.
