The diagrams illustrate the changes that have taken place in a student accommodation building between 2010 and the present day.
Overall, the building has been modified to accommodate more students. Several new student bedrooms have been added, while the bathroom, hallway and main entrance have remained unchanged. In addition, a car parking area and an en-suite room have been introduced, resulting in a reduction in the garden area.
In 2010, the accommodation consisted of three student bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom. There were also gardens located around the building. The living room was situated in the north-west corner, while two student bedrooms were located on the eastern side and one on the western side.
At present, the former living room has been converted into an additional student bedroom. Furthermore, another student bedroom has been built in the northern part of the building, increasing the total number of bedrooms from three to five. The kitchen has been expanded and now functions as a kitchen and social area. In the south-east corner, an en-suite room has been added next to the existing bedroom. Outside the building, part of the garden has been replaced by a car parking area, although some garden space remains around the accommodation.
