Overall, the building has undergone significant alterations, preliminarily to increase the number of student bedrooms and develop a car parking by utilizing some parts of the garden and replacing a living room. Notably, the addition of en-suite rooms and a combined social-kitchen area has resulted in a reduction of the building’s original internal space.
Situated to the south of the map, the former garden has been transformed into a parking zone, efficiently addressing students’ growing demand for vehicle space. In 2010, the northern part of this area featured a broad main entrance and a spacious hallway running parallel to a student bedroom and bathroom. In the current layout, the hallway has been compressed to accommodate an en-suite room, which is now seamlessly integrated with one student bedroom.
Meanwhile, the kitchen has retained its original position, though it has now been merged with a newly introduced social area to enhance communal interaction among residents. Further north, part of the former garden, along with the living room, has been repurposed to accommodate two newly constructed student bedrooms.
