The given plan illustrates a student accomodating building and shows the changes it has undergone over a 15 year time period between 2010 and 2025. At first glance, several differences can be easily observed.
Overall,student building experinced significant developmentduring this period. In 2010, it was smaller and had less capacity compared to the 2025. While the main features remained largely unchanged, additional services and an increased capacity were introduced over time.
One of the most noticable changes is the addition of the extra bedrooms. In 2010, only 3 bedrooms were avaliable but in 2025 there are 5 bedrooms. In 2010’s plan there was a livingroom but today that room is used as bedroom and according to the plan now students use kitchen as their social area. Also, today hallway is smaller and tighter because od the addition of en-suite room.
Regarding of extra services, in 2010’s plan there were many places used as gardens. Now there is only one garden on the top of the plan and, the one on the left corner of the plan is added to the main building and turned into a student bedroom. The garden at the bottom of the plan is replaced as car parking over the years.
However, although many things have changed during the specified time period, some things have remained the same. Bathroom and kitchen still has the same amout of space as they had in 2010.
