The first map illustrates an uninhabited island prior to the construction of some tourist amenities, whereas the second one shows its layout after the construction.
Overall, the island has become a resort area as numerous amenities such as a restaurant, a reception area, and accommodation blocks have been built.
The island before the construction of some basic infrastructure facilities and amenities was rather a featureless land with only two patches of palm trees on both wings. As regards its size, it is a relatively small one stretching 250 metres.
Conversely, a number of developments have taken place ,altering the character of the island completely. One of the most significant changes has been the construction of the pier, which enables visitors to access the island and dock yachts. In addition, a vehicle track was established which has made a huge ease in reaching the reception in the central part of the island and leading to the restaurant which has been built in the northern part. Moreover, there are quite a few bungalows erected on either side of the reception area. However, in order to access the bungalows one should use footpaths. Furthermore, the footpath which leads to the accommodation blocks in the western side of the island is also further extended towards the beach. Another worth mentioning development is that now the beach is suitable for swimming or other aquatic pursuits.
