The map illustrates the transformation of a city park over time.
Overall, the park has been renovated with new leisure facilities, a new reconstructed structure, and better access to the park. The boat lake has changed into a swimming pool, and many others have been put in place to give visitors a better time.
Previously, there were two parts in the park. A patch of trees in the first half cooled the place down, the other half on the right was a nice recreational spot with a lake of “Building Lake,” a cafe, and through the four-season garden some special flower beds were found. Greenery was added as a refinement and opened walkways were made available for connection of the park. A row of buildings, likely commercial or residential, lined the top of the map and has remained unchanged. The park’s original design prioritized natural spaces and basic amenities.
Recently, the park has been modernized and enlarged. On the left side, new benches and barbecue areas have been installed, alongside a small café to provide refreshments. The right side is the one that has undergone the most significant changes, it was changed to the swimming pool instead of the lake. Besides, the cafeteria and the flower beds have been replaced by the tennis court so that the latter can be accommodated. A cycle path and a footpath that was built is the last addition that was made to cater to the peoples’ needs for outdoor activities.
