The diagram illustrates the process of small scale honey production involved both bee and human phases
Looking from an overall perspective, we can divide it into 3 main stages, starting with bee phase from gathering nectar to keeping sells clean, followed by human phase to harvest honey from combs , and eventually commercializing it.
The whole process begins when nectar collected from the flower, processed into honey and then stored in the honeycomb in the bee phase. In the human phase, honeycombs are gathered and pressed to extract honey from them.
The honey extracted from the hives is stored in a sump tank to be heated in a temperature of 45-50 degrees before being sent to the sieve tank for eliminating unnecessary impurities such as wax. Once it has been sent to the settling tank to be kept for 2-4 days, ready honey poured into jars, which afterwards would be sold.
