The two maps illustrate how the form of a school library transformed in 5 years.
Overall, it is noticeable that there are more studying tables at the center of the library, and they became private now compared to the past. Other than that, there are several changes in other areas such as use of book shelves, expansion and contraction of some places, and some other noticeable transformations.
In the past, there were book shelves in the direction of South and North, and on the western side, the place was taken by classroom, meeting room, and borrowing and returning desk. To the east, there had been library office and desk for computers.
Currently, the place on the southern side where book shelves were placed is overtaken by desks for students’ laptops, and more studying tables are available at the library now. To the south-east, there was library office, which is now transformed into conference room. Moreover, borrowing and returning desk, which was previously merged, had been separated into two different places to the south-west. On the northern side, classroom had been replaced by recording studio, and size of the meeting room had been shortened. Also, the desks used for computers on the north-east side became a place for students’ laptops.
