The two maps illustrate the changes that have occurred in the layout of a particular school library over a period of half a decade.
Overall, the library has generally experienced significant improvements, transforming from an ordinary school library into a more modernized one. Notably, some alterations were observed in all features of the library, except for book shelves and meeting room, which have remained intact.
In the south-east corner of the library, a former library office has knocked down in order to make space for a new conference room. Next to it, book shelves have been replaced with desks for students’ laptops. In the middle of the library, the number of studying tables has doubled, making them private them for each student.
Another significant change was the replacement of the old classroom with a new recording studio. Interestingly, virtually no change was observed in the construction of the meeting room and book shelves. Alongside with the meeting room, the borrowing and returning desk are now separated into individual rooms. To the north side of the library, there are still book shelves, while the desk for computers is now occupied for personal students’ laptops.
