The given picture illustrates the design and the mechanism of a typical solar panel. It is evident that structure consists of three components, including a transparent glass, a square box and two tubes on the side.
Regarding the design, a solar panel is made up of a container which resembles a square box with a piece of see-through glass installed on top. The transparent glass helps seal the box and absorb sunlight. On one side of the box, there is an inlet and an outlet on the other side to allow air and water to enter and exit the panel.
In terms of how a solar panel works, it can be used to generate warm air. The process starts with cool air coming in from the inlet on the side of the box. Sun rays are absorbed by the transparent glass and get refracted by it, which produces high temperature inside the box abd warm up the air. The resulting warm air is released through the outlet afterwards. Similarly, when cool water is pumped into the panel, it also undergoes the heat systematic pipe that connects both ends of the box. In this case, the accumulated sunlight heats up the tube as well as the cool water in it. At the end of the process, warm water is pushed out via the outlet.
