The two given bar charts show the information of import and export between China and Australia. The first bar chart illustrates the value of goods imported and exported between the period of 1998 and 2004 years, whereas the second compares the values of various items imported to Australia in 2003 and 2004.
Overall, the value of exported and imported goods rose gradually over the years, therefore the value of individual items imported from China were also higher in 2004 than in 2003.
In 1998 the value of imported goods was two times higher than exported, specifically 20 billion dollars imported and 10 billion dollars exported. During a given period the worth of both importation and exportations steadily rose, but importation maintained its lead during the whole period. In 2004 the worth of importation reached a significant 40 billions, which is two times higher than it was in 1998, meanwhile proportions for exportation more than doubled and reached an approximate 25 billion dollars of value.
The trend for importation to Australia in 2003 and 2003 aligns in both bar charts. The importation value of every item was higher in 2004, except for clothes, which had the same numbers in both years.
