Overall, the numer of people in that country showed aconsiderable upward trending throughout the perid. However, birth and mortality rates experienced a significant fluctuation over time.
As can be seen in the intial chart, 1700 was the year when the least population existed at just below 10 million, followed by a considerable increase in 1800, 1900, and 2000 showing gradual growth in population at around 15 million, just below 40 million, and approximately 50 million, respectively, contributing to the highest recordings in 2000.
On the following bar chart, the year 1800 shows the highest both mortality and birth rate at around 17 and approximately 23 individuals per 1000 people, respectively. Meanwhile, the lowest death rate existed in 2000 at exactly 0.5%. In the years 1700, 1900 and 2000, the birth date ranged from just below 1% to around 1.3%. In general, the birth rate exceeded the death rate throughout those 4 centuries.
