The chart displays a recruitment pipeline applied in big corporations. Generally, there are eight steps of hiring process before management offers a permanent position for the selected candidates.
Firstly, after all applications are submitted, applicants will be invited to do interview. However, only those who meet all the basic requirements will continue to the next step, which is an aptitude test. Failing this test will lead to elimination. Consequently, the test taker who successfully pass the test will be offered a position and enter the probation stage for six months.
It’s important to note that, accepted on probation will not guarantee a permanent position in the end. After the six-month period ended, an evaluation will be conducted to determine if employees deserve a permanent position. Unfortunately, if they failed this screening process, they will not receive a recommendation to extend the contract. Conversely, employees who check all the criteria in evaluation will be officially recruited.
