The bar chart displays percentage breakdown of the choices of accommodation by Britisher in three particular cities-London, Oxford and Cambridge in the year 2005.
Overall, flats were the most significant place preferred by people from each city of UK, while terrace houses were least. Half of the population of London chose flats compare to other three housing, whereas in other two cities, every type of housing were almost equally used to live.
In terms of flats and detached houses, while people from London and Oxford used to live in flats, where population of London were doubled at 59% than oxford at 29%, mostly around one third of the Cambridge individuals chose to live in detached house compare to flats at 20%.
Moving to semi-detached houses, proportion of people whose housing preference was semi-detached house in London were slightly lower at around 16% than other two cities at almost one quarter. Moreover, in all cities, about 15% of people chose terraced houses.
