Overall, it is clear that terraced houses were selected the least in three cities. Besides, the biggest difference was showed in Apartments.
In 2009, the number of people in London selecting terraced houses was the highest percentage of 20%. In Manchester and Liverpool around 10% of the residents chose terraced houses. Interestingly, Liverpool showed a contrasting in Apartment, nearly 60% of the people in the UK. The figure for Manchester and London was double and triple respectively
In Manchester, the proportion of people living in semi-detached houses and detached houses were quite/relatively similar, nearly 40%. Similarly, the percentage of people in Liverpool choosing to live in detached houses was equal that of the figure for semi-detached houses at 20% each. The number of Londoners selecting semi-detached houses stood at nearly 40%, which was around 13% higher than those who opted for detached houses
