The process diagram illustrates a wine production in a small-scale winery.
Overall, the process consists of 8 total steps, starting with harvesting grapes and ending with shipping wine products to the warehouse.
First of all, grapes are harvested by the workers or special machinery from the vineyards. Then, the crops are collected in containers. After that, they are washed thoroughly, removing leaves and stems by hand. Next, the grapes are crushed by a presser to extract grape juice before yeast is added to it.
In the next stage, the grape juice is fermented and put in barrels made of oak wood for 2 months to complete the process. Once the fermentation stage is done, the wine is poured into bottles and labelled. Finally, the product is transported to the storage unit.
