It is clear that there were distinctive trends in the populations of each type of mammals over the period shown. Overall , there were no significant differences in the seals and whales population between 2010 and 2018.
The number of seals were the highest in 2006, with around 40 species before falling down to about 22 species in 2010. After that, gradual increase was experienced in the number of seals from 2014 to 2018, rising from 32 to just over 40.
The figures for whales remained over the period shown, from about 22 to around 28. Specially, in 2010, the number of whales was the largest, with around 23 species. There was a significantly growth in the population of marine mammals during the period from 2006 to 2018. The data dolphins in 2006 was the lowest, with just around 15 species before reaching a peak of just under 50 in 2018.
