Looking at the maps, it is evident that this city has undergone several radical changes with the most noticeable being the addition of buildings and transportation infrastructure.
Dubai has become more modernized and the number of people driving cars has increased substantially. The Clock Tower in the middle of the roundabout and the surrounding roads, however, still remain unchanged
In the northern part of the main square, trees along the street have been cut down to make way for the construction of skyscrapers while the new ones have been planted around the edge of the roundabout.
