Overall, Dubai has experienced a notable transformation from a small, sparsely built town to a metropolis during the period given.

Couple of decades ago, Dubai was a modest town made up of only a few buildings. The map indicates, that it used to be rich in greenery, streets lined with trees. Data also suggests that people did not use cars back then, roads being totally empty.

Over the past decades, Dubai has underwent essential changes, transforming from rarely inhabited place to highly developed urban metropolis. Nowadays, the urban landscape is dominated by skyscrapers, apartment buildings, and tower blocks. There has been a considerable decrease in numbers of trees, which nowadays are only concentrated in the city centre, around the construction. Dubai has become highly populated city, with busy traffic, as the map illustrates a significant number of carsa circulating around the city. The thing that staid relatively same is the construction in the city centre.
