The bar graphs illustrate the proportion of male and female students who achieved grades A and B in the range of five subjects in the Parston School and National Average. Overall, it is clear that the figures for male students decrease almost similarly from 1st subject to 5th subject in each (Parston School and National Average), while Female students were stable almost in all subjects.
The percentage of math and science in male students was higher than female students, the former is over 40% and the latter is under 40%. In the other three shows almost similarly in the figures, however the male students illustrate the 10% of lower difference than female students in the arts. In the percentage of male and female students in humanities subjects and languages shared similar trends.
In the National Average, the male students were lower than the male students in Parston School, at the same time, female students also were average percentage in the all five subjects. The male students and female students share similar proportion in the humanities subjects and languages, but the percentage in the math and science have difference in male students and female students, over 30% and under 30% respectively. In the arts the proportion of male students and female students in National Average shared similar trends like Parston School.
