The pie chart illustrates the data about how frequently American adults engaged in online shopping in 2015, whereas shopping preferences of those people were given in the bar chart. As it can be seen from the first chart, online shopping was less frequent among the adults during this time.
In 2015, the largest number of adults (37%) did online shopping less often, while the figure for those who shopped on a weekly basis was 15%. Nearly the same proportions of the Americans purchased online a few times a month (28%) or never (20%).
In terms of their shopping preferences, a substantial number of the grown-ups (80%) shopped in the stores, while this figure for online customers was almost one-forth. Similarly, the number of people who favored shopping in physical stores every month (60%) was more than who chose online shopping (40%). However, the trends were reversed in terms of the figures for weekly shopping, as 60% of online shoppers made purchases weekly.
